Job Description

  • Oversee the development and integration of tournament management platforms, registration systems, CRM, and digital engagement tools.
  • Assess and implement cybersecurity measures and data privacy compliance for global users.
  • Select and manage IT vendors; direct technical troubleshooting during event peak periods.
  • Develop processes for live scoring, streaming, and content distribution.
  • Ensure full technical readiness for large-scale, multi-region operations.
  • Continuously evaluate new tech solutions to create a seamless participant experience.

 

General Description: Leads the technology strategy, infrastructure, and IT solutions that power EPICโ€™s events and participant experience.

 

Within 30 Days

  • Review all current technology platforms, infrastructure, and partners.
  • Assess cybersecurity and data privacy protocols.
  • Meet stakeholders across operations, marketing, and finance.

 

Within 60 Days

  • Identify gaps and lead vendor negotiations for new solutions.
  • Oversee implementation of key updates to registration and tournament management systems.
  • Establish data integrity and privacy monitoring routines.

 

Within 90 Days

  • Integrate live scoring and streaming technologies at major events.
  • Launch IT roadmap for scalability and innovation.
  • Deliver first IT performance report and recommendations.
