Job Description

  • Develop operational systems from registration through to post-event reporting across all event tiers (qualifiers, world championship).
  • Manage all logistics: booking venues, equipment shipping, travel, accommodation, and event setup/teardown.
  • Create and enforce budgets; report on expenditures and variance.
  • Establish relationships with vendors, agencies, and local authorities.
  • Lead and train event delivery teams and oversee volunteer programs.
  • Handle onsite problem-solving and contingency planning.
  • Implement sustainability, safety, and player experience protocols.

 

General Description: Oversees all EPIC event operations, ensuring flawless delivery and participant satisfaction.

 

Within 30 Days

  • Familiarize with all event SOPs, budgets, vendors, and staff.
  • Observe live event planning and shadow operational processes.
  • Audit inventories, contracts, and risk management materials.

Within 60 Days

  • Own day-to-day operational planning for local and global events.
  • Streamline communication among venues, vendors, and staff.
  • Identify process improvements and budget efficiencies.

 

Within 90 Days

  • Lead deployment of at least one EPIC event from planning through full execution.
  • Launch refresher training for operations teams.
  • Set KPIs for scalability, quality, and safety; deliver first comprehensive after-action report.
