What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Own daily operations and coordinate event logistics (venue planning, asset tracking, budget tracking)
  • Drive project plans across marketing, athlete experience, and stakeholder engagement
  • Support in crafting campaign strategies, copywriting, and social media activations
  • Help manage recruitment, onboarding, and training of key team members
  • Anticipate roadblocks and proactively solve problems for lean, nimble execution
  • Serve as the point-of-contact for partners, sponsors, and other stakeholders

Ideal Candidate

  • Background: Sports/event operations, global tournament management, sponsorship, athlete services, sports tech, major league front-office, or adjacent fields.
  • Pickleball knowledge is a plus but passion and broader sports industry experience are key
  • Previous experience juggling multiple projects, wearing many hats, and thriving in ambiguity
  • Excellent communication, organization, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Team-first mentality, comfort with autonomy, and professional resilience

Relevant Experience & Skills

  • Project or operations management in sports, entertainment, live events, brands, or agencies
  • Knowledge of venue logistics, event planning, or marketing activations
  • Stakeholder management with athletes, partners, vendors, and sponsors
  • Experience with digital marketing, PR, or community growth campaigns
  • Talent recruitment, onboarding, or people operations
  • Strong budgeting, task-tracking, and tech-savviness (spreadsheets, collaboration tools)

30-Day Expectations & Deliverables

  • Build foundational understanding of the business mission, goals, and operating processes
  • Shadow and assist with daily operations, marketing, venue planning, and stakeholder meetings
  • Initiate relationship-building with founders, partners, and key stakeholders
  • Create baseline documents such as a stakeholder map and onboarding checklist
  • Prepare weekly status updates and begin documenting key observations

60-Day Expectations & Deliverables

  • Take ownership of select sub-projects in operations, marketing, or athlete experiences
  • Drive the execution of at least one campaign, event, or process improvement initiative
  • Develop and maintain detailed project timelines, trackers, and asset inventories
  • Launch or support delivery of a marketing/athlete engagement initiative
  • Provide performance updates and propose optimizations based on initial results

 

90-Day Expectations & Deliverables

  • Fully own multiple work streams (e.g., operations, hiring, stakeholder engagement)
  • Lead the planning and delivery of a successful pilot event or major milestone
  • Produce post-event/initiative debriefs and present key learnings
  • Recommend and implement new processes for improved efficiency or experience
  • Contribute to strategic planning, quarterly hiring, and continuous business growth
